Really?

I've flown with plenty of "airline" pilots that fly as smooth as a badger's ass. My comment wasn't a stab at airline guys, I was helping to strengthen a resume.

Thanks for the congrats, but it does sound like you need a break.

That's good news. What else did they say at WIA? Remaining interviews/hires in 2016? Preliminary 2017 numbers?

Half way through hiring this year, so another 300ish. No hiring numbers given for 2017, just retirement. PIC time not going away any time soon.
The big surprise to me was that SWA is growing. The goal is 1000 planes.

While being being cautiously optimistic, my follow up questions to them would be; when do you want to reach that goal and how do they plan to increase to 1000 planes? Organically, or through acquisition?

My understanding is yes. Everyone who has applied in the last cycle will get an email directing them to reapply on the careers page.

Anybody hear any rumors about the new training center? Thought they were supposed to break ground in Jan, but doesn't look like anything has been done yet.
