Ditto here. Got the type, and received the invitation to interview within a few days.

Did ATP buy Higher Power? Had no idea what the 737 rating costs so just out of curiosity I Googled it and it shows $14,400 here in DFW. Can that be correct? Former FSI instructor so I'm usually in tune with what a type costs, but I was under the impression someone in DFW was doing it for half that.

Correct. I did my type last year at FTI in Denver and it was $7300, but those sims went away apparently (sorry to say).

Btw: the union won't release the opener until after their first mediated meeting with the company on 3/22

I just signed up with ATP/Higher Power for a 26 April class for the 737 type. It's actually $14,445. Thankfully I have the GI Bill, which pays $12,048 of that cost. Hopefully it helps me and if not it will be a great experience!

I just did the type in January at ATP, feel free to PM with questions. Plan on 13 days nonstop with 12a-4:30 am sims.

Last classic sim was apparently decertified in SEP 2015, only NG's now.

We just got a quote to remodel the entire master bathroom and it came in at 14K. My wife would be like," yeah, be happy with your Airbus type and enjoy the granite, travertine, and rainforest shower." That's a tough one to out of pocket, given the requirement to have it has been removed.
