The yeti is a popular yet expensive choice. Here's the key - it has to have a slim bottom in order to fit in the cup holders. They are the standard Boeing too skinny holders that fit the tiny paper coffee cups that we serve to the customers. If your mug is too big it either won't fit or will take the cup holder insert with it when you pick your cup up.
The cup needs to be about as wide as a standard 12 oz can, at least on the bottom 3 inches or so.

They want to hire you, so try to relax and be yourself! You will find the process is quite pleasant.
Have the last five years of flight time broken down by each year--have it ready to hand in on your interview.
Also, be able to show your type, 1000 PIC, etc. Have your logbook up to date.
Don't forget your FCC permit.
Good luck!

Hello all,
New to APC but have some fresh information to many of you that are on here. I went to NGPA and had a very interesting experience. When I was in line for SWA, the intern who was "working" the line walked though the line and asked everyone individually if they met the SWA minimums (2500,1000tpic), if the response was yes, you stayed put. If the answer was no, you were grouped together and were sent to talk to someone from HR rather than a Pilot Recruiter.
When I got to the front of the line, we did 5 person group interview/get to know you's. One of the candidates didn't meet the 1000 TPIC. I think he had one of the fast passes and came right at the last minute, therefor he didn't get the same vetting process. However the Pilot Recruiter gave me lots of crap for it. Politely saying that he was wasting their time being there and wasted a fast pass because he didn't meet their minimums. I think the applicant handled it pretty well, but none the less, not the best position to be in when your looking to join the ranks.
Later in the day, SWA was doing a informal Q&A in the conference room. One of the questions brought up was applying when you don't meet the minimums. The captain that was talking basically said don't bother. The questions at the beginning have to be all answered correctly otherwise SWA doesn't even see the application.
Hopefully this helps some of you.

Most of us interviewed in the same 2 month period last year. Your app will probably get seen sooner with it but it's definitely not required.
