It's kind of an ongoing joke. Don't worry about it.
The rumor has been out there for a while, even from SWAPA. I don't know when it will go away, but rest assured it will eventually.
Honestly, it's a dumb requirement. I don't know why they are hanging on to it other than that they don't need to get rid of it...yet.
