I'll be there November 10 at 0800.
As mentioned in another thread, I was finally able to check the bachelor's degree box last Monday, and Wednesday I had an invite. Initially, the dates available didn't work for my schedule - good old Navy FIST inspection :\ ... the email said if they didn't hear back within 7 days, they'd contact again. So, I decided to wait until following week to see if new dates would be posted. Friday, just 2 days after I received invite and saw a list of dates that wouldn't work (all in October), the October dates were gone with November interview dates.
I've had my apps in for the last 2 years with zero hits, I always assumed for degree. Finally got off my ass last year and got it going.. it's done. I thought I had average to above average military credentials, so I'm pretty sure the lack of degree was the reason no calls.
At any rate, for reference, with .3 conversion, All Coast Guard ... 3900+ TT, 1600 PIC, 737 Type, Bachelor's, Safety, Chief Pilot (aka Ops-O), Aircraft Flown - C-130, C-144, T-6, T-44, T-34, Military IP, CFI/CFII, availability DEC 2016. No NATOPS/SEFE/Flight Examiner.
Your mileage may vary. Good luck to all. If anyone will be there the afternoon of November 9, let me know. I should be getting in around 3pm? Not sure where I'm staying yet. Probably what ever is cheaper, closest, and with free food.

I am still working on my degree.
Did you have an Associates Degree before the Bachelor's or did you go from NO degree to Bachelor's?
Congrats on the interview I wish you the best.
Thanks

Look, I don't disagree with you. As you know I'm the first one to complain about parking, hotels, and crew meals. But here is the thing. The NC mandate was compensation, reserve, and retirement. According to the NC at the road shows the NMB was only going to let them open 6 sections of the contract for improvements over TA1. They opened 22.
Like it or not we are in mediation, a failure of TA2 has a number of challenges. First, we will undoubtedly be parked by the NMB and the company may very well decide that the cost savings of operating on a 2012 contract with lower pay rates than Allegiant trumps any advantages that the meager section 1 language offers. Second, I do not believe that this pilot group will rally behind Jon and SWAPA in vast numbers the way that they did after TA1. I picketed 3 times before TA2 and you would be hard pressed to get me out on the picket line again if TA2 fails. The NC achieved their mandate. They got the company to come up an astonishing 5.7% on retirement and establish a B fund. If they say there was nothing left on the table, I believe them and I am not willing to let Hank go back to the line just to improve hotel language.
The company will want something else between now and 2020, and nothing is free anymore. That's when we can tackle hotels, parking, etc. By the way, Ted B was at the last BOD meeting and was instructed to come back with AK in December and tell SWAPA what they intend to do to improve hotel quality, so even without language Jon isn't letting them off the hook.
I'm voting yes to lock in our gains before the election.

All good points, Zap. Ideally I'd prefer to have the NC make some gains now before voting closes on the back of the Delta TA. I'd LIKE to vote YES, but we're dealing with a company that is open to improving the TA to make sure it passes and so we can retain new hires in the future so it would be great to see some of those gains made.
Sorry for the thread hijack, btw.
