What's the ratio of pilots to airlines now? To go to 1100 airplanes I'd think you'd need to at-least double those hiring numbers.

I've been hearing they upped the number to 800 this year for new hires. Is that still the case?

Based on the accelerated retirement of the classics, they revised the number back down into the 600's. With the "leaky sink" problem that they have right now though, it may take 800 to get 600 on property.
