Got struck by lightning and received an invite recently:

-All 121
-7000TT+
-1 job fair, but didn't get a chance to talk to SWA
-Updated SWA Pilot Credentials once a month or so
-4 year degree
-community service

Good luck to all. Time to get the ducks in a row and hit this one out of the park.

My pilot credentials has always shown "active". I wish I knew the magic involved with getting an invite! The recruiter looked over my stuff at WAI and said it all looked fine.

Congrats to those that are getting the invite to an interview. I have a question. Are you getting only an invite email after you applied yesterday, or did you get the:

"We appreciate your desire to join the Southwest family. Thanks for taking the time to tell us about yourself" email as well?

Thank you for any info you can provide. Good luck at the interview. Southwest is a great company.

Also, anyone getting more invites today? (3/29/16)

For those of you who got invites, were you part of the group from WAI that got the email asking you to apply? Curious if that made any difference. Congrats by the way. Hope to join you guys soon.

I did not meet with SWA at any job fairs, nor do I have the 737 type.

Anyone know if they will open up more interview dates? I looked last night and several were available. This morning when I had a chance to look at my schedule and select a date only a couple were left.

Never went to WAI or any other job fair. But I have the 73-type. I think it still carries some weight.
