Whoa wait a minute. With the class that started today, that makes 250 NHs since this round started (December 11, 2013 class). So now you're saying that there's another class starting April 30th AND there are three more classes after that? I wonder if those three classes are the group of 84 in June and July or are there actually three classes scheduled between the April 30th group and the 84 this summer?

Don't get me wrong, I'm ecstatic to see it, but my guess is that they're going to snag up a lot more NGs coming off of lease than they're letting on.
Not to be a conspiracy theorist, but something's going on.

The 84 will be the June and July classes after the April 30th new hire class, which are included in the 288.
And yes Whack, I agree that they are going to find some airplanes they haven't already committed to take delivery of.

We were told 288 hired this round. I don't know if this includes new hires who didn't show up due to another job offer.

So with the classes of 84 this summer that'll make 372 NHs this year (minus the no-shows). Retirements number about 140 so that equates to approximately 3% total growth. In a year that was supposed to be flat?! Yeah, what's really going on in the fleet planning office?
At this rate I should get my original relative seniority back in 10 years instead of the 15 that was originally forecasted and you NHs should be holding a weekends off line in 5 years flat

Okay, yeah that all makes sense.
