They do for now, but I doubt they will forever. It was a worthwhile experiment, and as one who HATES to get nickled & dimed, I hoped it would succeed. But the market has spoken and the consumer will get the unbundled travel experience they deserve....even on SWA, eventually. Considering that ancillary fees are virtually the ONLY thing that keeps you and most other Legacy carriers afloat, just imagine what kind of financials SWA will be able to turn in when they DO start charging fees!
Better break out some airplane paint and body paint scrub....

Supposedly, SWA Check Airman have been informed they won't start doing Int'l until Q3 2014.

I wish it could wrap up sooner, too. This integration and all the other changes it has produced are stressing the company to it's core, and you guys are certainly bearing plenty of it from what I gather. Hopefully we'll all emerge from it a much stronger and more profitable airline.

SWA put out a letter last week saying all AT pilots who need a 737 PIC type rating will be provided one when they come through for conversion training. In other words, free 737 type ratings for all Trannys who need them!
