Unfortunately, no matter what I say, you will spin it back at me or others as you are right, period. I can live with that. Fine, you win.
If you continue to ***** and moan over this you will destroy yourself and implode. Try something POSITIVE about situation. Fix it. Try your hand at union work. Many *****, but will not step up to the plate and commit to a fix.
Or you can move on, like try another airline if this does not work for you.
I cannot wait to fly with the last holdouts, it will be awesome.

Is SWA the same airline when I first started? NO. Did I get more wronged than AirTran pilots? Probably not.
Here is the rub.....When you combine the AirTran acquisition with a lousy economy and the age 65 rule spells bad times. Nobody is happy on both sides.
I personally did not cause your anger, nor most of the line holding pilots on both sides. Please do not take it out on the line pilot. Stir your anger towards BOTH UNIONS and BOTH COMPANIES.
Sorry, best I can do for you. Deal with it.

As for moving onto another airline, all options are being kept open for sure.
For the record, I will continue to "b!t(h" about the situation as long as you pompous ;&-/s are on here spewing the same garbage about how "we all got screwed one way or another". You call it b!t(hing, I call it keeping the record straight and the facts/numbers out in the open. If you don't like it, YOU can feel free to "do something positive and fix the situation".
It's not just the last of the holdouts that'll be awesome because there's plenty that have transitioned that feel the same way as me. Trust me on that one. I for one won't hesitate to tell you EXACTLY how I feel if I smell even a little of the pompous SW attitude start to fill the cockpit.
You guys wanted the downgrades and Cptn seats, and the massive loss of seniority. Now YOU can all deal with the sh!tt) attitudes that have arisen from your union coconspiring with GK to f()k us.
Deal with it, or "move on"......

Whack, you are correct I do not know you. As you do not know me. Eventually, you will be a SWA pilot, if you want to be. I am not asking you to drink anyone's koolaid. But you need to look at the big picture overall. Whether you want to help on the SWA side is up to you. I could really care less what you do.
Now, the flip side. You do not know me. Believe it or not, I am on your side. I also voted no on SL9 and SL10. Did not feel it was best for everyone, including the AirTran pilots.

To be honest Orion, my anger only stems from the fact that YOU (a member of the p**sy union otherwise known as SWAPA) just stood there and let daddy do your dirty work instead of negotiating fairly with ALPA. When that type of thing happens, one can only place the blame on you as a whole because ALL of you were indirectly a part of how the AirTran guys got *******ED! Instead of facing the battle, you guys (SWAPA) just p**sied out and let the big daddy do all of your work for you and then you expect all of the AirTran guys ( who got shat on and still get shat on with every lie that SWA has said since the beginning) to just be happy with everything and etc. You screwed their livelihood and of course, none of you SWA can or will admit it because you're blinded by stupidity but I don't expect anymore or any less from you guys.

blakman - I did my part. I voted no on both SL 9 and SL 10. If you read my complete post you would have seen that. I am sorry things are not working out for you. I really am.
I am completely ****ed off with my union and company for how this whole acquisition went down. Not happy with your side either.
The only thing I can control now is my vote on things as they come along. I usually vote no. The other thing I can control is the parking brake. Fly safe.

Orion,
Kudos for attempting to input a bit of balance with the Usual Suspects.
Give up.
I have.
I didn't understand why there was such a fervent outcry when then first hint of ACQUIRING Airtran surfaced - ironically from former Airtran pilots.
I don't wonder any more.

4th - thanks for the kind words. Just trying. Most of the pilots at SWA are good guys.
Shoe - If what you say is correct about Blakman, and he does not work for AirTran, he will implode. Lots of anger there.
SWA will do what they want, period. SWA is playing their game and both sides of the pilot seniority lists are losing in some form or fashion. They have very smart lawyers that interpret what they feel is correct. Every corporation/industry does this.
Have a great weekend everyone.

DUDE, YOU DON'T WORK AT SWA OR AIRTRAN! Why in the He!! do you have such strong opinions on the subject? It truly is beginning to sound like you are bordering on a psychotic obsession with a matter that in no way shape or form effects you directly. Please state for the record that you DON'T work for either pilot group so everyone that is directly involved can in fact make an intelligent opinion about your viewpoint.
