While different, BA does it in a 320. I doubt SWA would have an all business class 737 though.

How is it any more painful than long or international flights on the single aisle 757 that the legacy's are using? Maybe more painful for the pilots...

I've done 6 hours in the back of Alaska's 73 between HNL and ANC, and 5 hours between SLC and ANC in Delta's 75; Both EQUALLY PAINFUL!

Latest Side Letter is only with Volaris. That was terminated earlier this year. The only codeshare allowed now is inter-island Hawaii and Caribbean with RJ's.

There is no TATL service aboard BA A320s. I think what you may be thinking about is the BA A318 that does LCY-SNN-JFK-LCY run. The other regularly scheduled non-BBJ/CJ 737/A32X service across the pond is Air Canada from YYT to LHR.

No doubt that the Max could do Western Europe easily eastbound, but how about during the winter westbound? Realistically, it's still a 737 and not suited for transoceanic travel, so is there a widebody in the future? They also aren't supposed to show up until 2017 and all the hype is pointing to starting this endeavor in 2015.

As for partnering with a European carrier? How the hell does that fit into the scope language?
The NG carries about 20.0 tons of fuel. Back out 2.4 ton leaving about 17.6. As a wag the -800 burns an average of 40kg per minute, accounting for taxi, takeoff, cruise, descent, approach, and APU usage during ETOPs. Our -800s are certified for 120 minutes ETOPs, thus limiting operations to the northern routes. That said, Ops from the UK or the Continent probably won't happen. However, from EIDW or EINN, the possibility does exist. You never know... a code share could develop between FR and WN, as EINN and EIDW have immigration on the spot.

Fly Globe Span, a former UK carrier operated a 737 from the UK via EIKN.

Very uncomfortable for the pax, but could prove very profitable for WN along with a LCC in Euroland.

Is there an aircraft seat limit to the Caribbean/Hawaii codesharing allowed? Is it subject to SWAPA approval? Or just allowed as long as it is below 4% ASMs?
