Southwest hiring info
#883
A January 2014 hire just resigned to go to Delta. He lives in ATL and would not be able to hold that domicile for many years at SW. For him it was simply a decision based on at which company he was more likely to maximize time at home with the family.

Show me the money,
We had a client leave SWA recently for AA. I believe he was from an AA base.

Yeah that's it ! I'm going to fork out 7500 for a type rating I can get for free at any other airline to be a perma-FO at SWA.
Sorry to rain on your parade but SWA's time at the top is over and on the fast track to the bottom of the food chain.
Herb is gone. I wish they all could be like Herb.
Gary Kelly is just another bean counter. Wait and see.

In the current enviroment at SWA, how long realistically would it take for a new hire to hold ATL or MCO as a domicile (reserve or line).
