I have almost the exact same application (hours, education, etc) of a coworker who received an interview invite however I received a TNBT email shortly after completing the application on Southwest.com and PilotCredentials.com. I'm thinking I might have dork'ed something up on one of the two applications but can't find what...

I've never heard of this… As long as you meet the minimum requirements, and don't have something disqualifying on your application, I can't imagine them doing that.

Thanks. Really curious more than anything why I might have received this and I have other friends, again with almost identical applications, who haven't heard a word in over a year since applying.
Any tricks to applying other than completing the application for the listing on the SWA website and completing a Pilot Credentials profile with the same email address?

Have you put in new applications over the year? I put my first in sometime last summer ( I think it was the march job posting). There was another late summer, and another in December.

I applied to the opening March, this fall, and again to the one that popped earlier this month.

I met someone who had this same thing happen and he said that the people dept told him that his birthday was being read wrong by the computer system and it was showing his as under 23. Maybe try to send an email and tell them what happened. You should not get that email until after you interview unless you don't meet one of the required qualifications.

Thanks for the info. What email address would you suggest? The one it came from? I didn't see it say it could not accept a reply but know that is the case often times with those form emails. Many thanks again!
