Rebekah is safe, although I can't compare her to anyone else. Her prep doesn't give you any canned answers, but instead gets you thinking about SWA culture. Almost like a philosophy to use when answering questions.

From my perspective, I don't think I needed the prep. I did use EC, but I think I would have been fine just reading trip reports and taking advice from the capts i met at the double tree. Just be yourself and answer their questions honestly. The prep did help me with the LOI and I was busted....The "so how did that EC prep do for you?" question came up. I was honest and I said it was a tool because I had not been in an interview since i was 17. They were cool with that i guess because i got the thumbs up.

Waiting
FWIW and those waiting to hear, I'm another story that took a while. I interviewed mid October and it took over a month before I heard back. It was my second interview (first was 2008). I was told I could expect a Jan class date. Like so many others have said, hang in there until you get either an email or phone call.

Early Nov interview... was asked if I used prep, I admitted I had. I was prepared for this question, and gave a coherent answer as to why I used prep (I really want the job, not willing to leave any stone unturned, etc.). They guessed (correctly) which company I used (ECC)... and I took their comments as an indicator that it's somewhat of a game to them to guess which prep company one might be using. I doubt it's make-or-break... but I am still waiting for the results of the interview. With that said, there's no way I would have gone to the interview without prepping. YMMV. Cheers!

As I recall, Rebekah Krone was on the interview team when I interviewed in 2006. Unfortunately at that time, they averaged 25% CJO's out of each interview group. In my group of 16, they hired 3 men and one woman. Of course 100% of the applicants had the 737 type, as you needed it just to get called for the interview. Times sure have changed.
