I would love to have been a fly on the wall to know why some weren't hired. Clearly a resume good enough to get the interview, but somehow didn't fit the mold. Stressful, and interesting.

I interviewed back on Oct 7th, morning group. Out of the six of us (I was the only civilian), I know 3 at least got offered the job, not sure about the rest as I didn't exchange contact info (sadly). Anyway, I found the interview to be very stress free and friendly. I didn't do any pay for prep and felt overall good about it (my weakest area was probably the LOI). That said, traditionally, I think about 2/3 of each interview group get's hired, but of course, that can vary.

I had previously read 70% of the interviewees get hired. We exchanged contacts among am and pm and 8 of the 12 got hired. Seems to be about 70% on our group.

It's worth noting that in years past the civilian path to a SW career often included more than one interview. So if you don't make it the first time, and it's where you want to be, make sure you try again!

I interviewed on 10/27 and none of my group have heard a peep (morning 6 only - didn't get afternoon info).
Strange how some get through the system so much faster post interview.

I'd heard that too. I got it on my first try but I got the TBNT for 3 other airlines before my SWA interview. Dunno if that makes me lucky or if practice makes perfect. Either way I'm glad to be starting soon.
