Quick question ( actually for anyone) what does this 72 hr window do for guys and gals that get this email? Did you all already have an app on file, for the ones that are getting this email? If so when you filled out the special 72 hr app did it go more into detail or anything special?

I agree- the app was the same. I did have my app in- no idea why I got the invite to apply during this time. I've been racking my brain trying to figure it out.

So a guy who goes to this job fair gets moved to this supposed "short stack", but a guy with several thousand hours 121 PIC and a 737 type for over a year can't get a call/e-mail and remains in the "big stack"??? Yeah, that makes sense!!!!

I am [slightly] under the assumption that SWA is not looking for a candidate that has been molded in the 121 world by another operator, and is willing, (maybe prefers?) to bring in candidates that have little 121 experience at other airlines, such as military/corporate experience. Maybe it's just wishful thinking coming from a guy that has spent almost a decade on the corporate side, and is ready for a dramatic change of scenery. Please, feel free to correct me if you think I'm wrong, it's only an assumption.
