As they reach further and further out for class dates, this is going to get easier and you should see more non typed folks called. The last interview group was being quick turned into June and July classes. I know the group interviewing now has some non typed people.
Already researched and talked to a few schools. Your info is greatly appreciated.

Yes. My class was a majority civilians. Only about 1/3 were military pilots.

what is the time for a civilian now? I have interviewed there before. My info is 7200TT 5000 TPIC most in Lears and Hawkers. 500 TPIC in the 747. I was a check airman and chief pilot. I am not sure what else I can do at this point. I also have the 73 type. Thanks for the info in advance.

Although my class was 2/3rd military (excluding yours truly,) the following class was quite the opposite, so it seems that it runs 50/50 which is pretty much what we've been told.

Good luck all, it's a blast!

Don't despair you are definitely competitive. Not sure what the formula is for 2nd interviews. I suspect you're under the pile of 737 typed guys that haven't interviewed yet.

Anyone know the actual class dates for the 3 classes in June/July? Or furthermore the class dates in the immediate future since it appears this train will keep Rollin'!

Sorry kfahmi, but you are wrong on two counts. These forums are FULL of buffoons criticizing SWA for Pay For Training. And it is not PFT. It is a Prerequisite before starting employment. Like an ATP. And xxxx turbine PIC. Some airlines have a requirement or prerequisite of a four-year degree. If you desire to work at specific airlines, find what they require then get eligible.
