Just got the invite today! I didn't think I had a chance with my low total time, but apparently it was good enough to make the cut. Beyond excited!

There were quite a few interview invites that went out today. More expected in the coming days as hiring numbers have been moved up just a bit.
Good luck to everyone!

I heard this week that SWA currently has about 5,800 qualified applicants on file, 900 of which have a 737 type rating. They estimate with so much hiring going on industrywide that they will be out of applicants with the type in about 2 years.
With UAL, DAL and AA hiring at least 1,000 pilots a year combined, and increasing every year, I wonder how fast that applicant base will shrink.
