It's basically two NH classes and one upgrade class per month for the rest of the year (according to two conversations I've had with crew planning).

Saw a guy on his way to an interview from SMF today! Keep em' coming. I have a few friends still trying to get interviews with no luck. Wish there were something we could do to help.

Any idea if the July 22 class will be part of the September vacancy bid?

I'm not sure what the date cutoff is, but we've been told that we won't be done with IOE until around Sept 15th, so probably not.

Yea I wish internal recs would help get an interview as well. My dad put in over 27 year at SWA, brother is there as well, but it doesn't help till you get the interview I was told. I could see if I was low time, but I have over 9000TT and over 5000 TPIC, but now Type and not a Check Airman. So my bingo ball has not be called yet.

I feel ya here...I've been holding since early 2008 and still nothing. Typed, not a check airman and not sure what else to do, very frustrating. I wonder if this lottery format of selecting guys is really worth holding out for.

My best guess bar napkin calculation is they will be part of the October vacancy, get their first month hard line in their base in October, and join me on the reserve chain gang in November. With another class hitting the line after that and holiday bid downs, I may even hold a hard line in December?

Glad I bought the rating too. Not a word. I have a direct line to Rocky too.

With a class July 22, 29, and two in August, you are looking at 3, possibly 4 classes for October bid....that'd be nice
