I received an interview invite via email this afternoon. The dates to chose were from the 11th of May through the end of the month. I think I saw them go as far out as the 29th.
Current 91/135 pilot/department manager for company, prior 121 regionals, 7,500-ish total hours, 2000 TPIC, masters degree, 737 typed at HPA in 2012. VERY excited!!!

For most of us average guys, getting even one call from a major is like winning the lottery.
I was very fortunate to get a call from Airways and then jetBlue. I always wanted to work for SWA, still have a letter they sent me back in the 90's when I applied for a ramp position there at the local airport while in high school.
Sometimes your first, second even third choice might not ever happen. For some guys it will, the well connected military guys. For most of us, it's pure dumb luck.

FWIW
Heard from 3rd reliable source that 4800 applied this session, nearly 1000 with the type.
As much as I want to believe the type isn't required, I think we will see the type held for everyone that got the invite.
Anyone got an invite this round without it?
