As for Delta, I've always got my ear to the ground and we'll just leave it at that. I'd caution you on your "never been into bankruptcy" attitude, because unless things change at SWA and the way you guys do things, there's a very good chance that status will change.

Thanks for the kind words, LtD. Yeah, most outside of Delta AND Delta guys realize the hose job when they see it. It's the SWA pilot's elitist mentality that is still so evident.

Note to Gerz..... I never asked for a "spot at Southwest" as you so affectionately label it. I never applied there. The company NEVER appealed to me. Not my cup of tea.

One nice thing about this industry and life in general is that Karma's a b!tch. You big D boys just keep kicking SWA's tail. When they go into bankruptcy and you buy them, then you can hose them on the SLI. I'd get screwed 2X but at this point it'd almost be worth it.

Bottom line to WH is everyone thinks they are getting screwed. Everyone will say SWA should have treated you better, because it doesn't cost them anything. Socialism at its finest. Ask them individually to give from their own, and they will laugh in your face. Sure they think you got screwed it doesn't cost them a thing. SLI is a zero sum game. They also would have loved to put you out of business on their own so they could raise their fares!!

Wasn't it you NOEL aka Living the Dream that told me the dumbest thing Delta did was to sell your old DC-9's to Value Jet? You should be grateful. We put AirTran out of business and gave you 88 B717s.
