Yeah, they probably are. Why would one of our own pilots not talk candidly about their feelings on the SLI with us? They've got nothing to hide, as opposed to spouting off their opinions to the wrong person at SWA and risk being "labeled" with the subsequent ramifications that all that entails.
His point about the spreadsheets is that the reps at the smaller bases (MCO & MKE....where it was actually feasible to do so) covered their ass by calling every pilot they represented and asked them personally how they wanted them to handle the first AIP, whether to put it out for vote or send it right back.

WRT your comment about the MKE guys being "different", keep in mind that many of them in that base are ex-ATA. To say that they're a little less than enamored with all things SWA would be a severe understatement.

no one denied that employees who spread negative sentiment are cancers to any organization much less an airline...cancers have to be cut out or "radiated" or treated with "chemicals" to be eliminated and if you dont get the whole tumor, it can start growing and spreading again...
no denial here......personally, way too much complaining going on as i see it......you signed up for it when you "wanted to be an airline pilot"
but i am a frequent SWA customer and also a shareholder.......no i dont work there but have many friends who do....wish i did though...(i am a 737NG captain)

As far as 1S1E's "day of reckoning" warnings go I want to point out that many SWA pilots openly bash Gary Kelly along with SWA Management as well as SWAPA on our union forum with just as much vigor as WM and others do here behind the cloak of a screen name. *I've never heard of anyone getting "special treatment" for an internet rant calling SWA management or SWAPA a bunch of cheats/crooks/liars/morons/etc.

You mean these Atlanta pilots that made this statement in their BREACH OF THE DUTY OF FAIR REPRESENTATION lawsuit against ALPA in 2012? "About three quarters of Atlanta-based pilots voted, by October 11, 2011, to recall three Atlanta MEC representatives who had voted to disapprove the earlier seniority integration package." Is that the same 3/4 majority of pilots that overwhelmingly told their reps to vote against the first deal before they decided to vote them out of office for doing so?

The reps simply listened to the pilots that actually bothered to let their voices be heard. The majority of those were telling them to shove the POS back across the table. They followed the bylaws and didn't do anything wrong. The lawsuit is completely frivolous. The pilots involved in it collectively should have spoken up more.
