It started long ago basically when SWA was founded. If Colleen didn't respect pilots why should anyone elese in the Company.

This place would be much better if they just fired all the pilots. The fuel saving would be huge, and more time for pickleball and deck parties.
The hate for the pilot group is beyond believable at this place .

Give examples of SWA hating pilots. Back up your statement. And please don't say it was because they took too long to get a contract, that goes both ways.

Herb loved the pilots, he would party with the pilots, attended gatherring with them, he even help the pilot group set up SWAPA and provided the group with free legal services to do it. Back up your statement with some examples and facts.

As for Herb partying with the pilots and helping to set up SWAPA he did that for 2 main reasons. The first is that he didn't want ALPA on the property and the second was that he wanted to influence the union and it's officers.

As an aside... does the FA contract allow them to pre-board for their jumpseat or deadheads like our contract allows us if we are assigned the jumpseat or a deadhead? Not talking about nonrevving of course. Just curious.
What about getting kicked off their jumpseat for an overweight situation? Is that still done? I asked this second question of our union and got a snarky response in return. With recent changes in contracts and policy, it's nice to know what I can advocate for or not. I've had some strange situations arise in the last few months.

As far as the FA jumpseat and weight restrictions, a memo from one of the VPs from last summer (2023) started that the new policy was that employees traveling on the cabin or flight deck jumpseats will no longer be pulled from a flight due to weight restrictions.
Those, on our side, are the last official publications regarding your questions.

I didn't say Herb didn't respect the pilots I said Colleen. One example I knew a Captain in BWI who commuted from DAL and was on the culture committee in DAL so he personally knew Colleen. He made a decision, that even the base Chief agreed with, that went against what an Ops agent wanted to do. Colleen insisted that he write a letter apologizing to the Ops agent. She had been quoted as saying pilots were a dime a dozen. Additionally she had said that Southwest was in the Customer Service business and we just happened to fly airplanes. To her pilots didn't provide customer service.

2. TWA was stapled but were also facing liquidation. The staple was a life boat for those facing no job to come back to. ALPA had nothing to do with that.
3. Is it true that you're a flight attendant pretending to be a pilot to troll this pilot site?
