I wasn't suggesting we go back to peanuts; I just would have thought a better flavor profile would have been ideal. I think most would agree that onions, while delicious, have a very potent smell to them, with these snacks being the same. Not a deal breaker for me, I just found it odd because they talked these things up like they were the second coming yet for me at least, they made the back of the plane smell like an armpit for 30 min. Thankfully I don't DH much, just an observation. As a side note, I don't necessarily dislike them as a snack; it's the effect they have when everyone opens them at once. Much like eggs, I love them, however I am not cracking them open up front as it would stink.
I think the more significant issue is that people use too much of the stuff. It shouldn't be the only thing you taste in a dish, but a lot of places think otherwise.
Yeah, this is it exactly. Like Maui, Onion pretzels are the end all be all, lol. I would pay money to know how much time and effort went into this decision. It's no wonder we can't have nice things onboard.

My dad had that... He can't stand cilantro, says it is very unpleasant. It tastes like pretty much nothing to me.
