Are you saying Alaska's strategy is to buy an airline and divest all but 3 aircraft and get this past anti trust? The DOJ is already moving to bring an anti trust suite against Alaska. We should probably stop hoping for some merger or acquisition. An order for aircraft from a manufacturer can't be stopped by anti trust.

United lurker… how is SWA planning on doing DEN-HI without augmenting? I’ve flown it multiple times on the 757 and the slowest flight plan I ever had was .83 to stay under the flight time limit.

When we do DEN-HI we’re going to show YOU how it’s done. That’s the SWA way. To hell with industry best practice.

The brain trust at HQ has already solved this issue, something only they could figure out. Silly questions, how dare you lol.

I've got this all figured out for you guys.
Call up Scott Kirby over at United. Get him to come over in his dress and high-heels, and do some purchase negotiations.
i'm betting youd get at LEAST a 20 percent discount.
Just thinking out loud here.
