Feds open investigation into SWA

I can't speak for the others who responded to this comment, but I thought it was hyperbole rather than a metaphor and that you were singling a specific pilot out, given that there is a social media personality who actually is a 26 year-old former regional FO who is a UA 777 FO at my base, and this person is very active on Instagram about their flying adventures. Good person and a really good pilot, actually.

Tbh, I’m not entirely sure. The 777 CA isn’t new, but I believe the incident was because there was a break down in communication that lead to an upset. I don’t remember the FO’s background tho
Not a lot of incidents happen with new guy. I have my guesses as to why the more experienced pilots are experiencing incidents

The 767 was a NH FO on OE (don’t quote on that) so I believe that was the only case involving a NH. At least that’s what I’ve been told. Who knows what’s real tho
This is all off the top of my head after a long day so take this with a grain of salt lol

It's not hard to guess what the problem is at UAL... 26 year-old regional FOs cosplaying international WB CA, while also trying to keep up their content production.
While SW has hired some folks recently, and maybe had some retention issues, anybody in the left seat should have almost ten years on property. So I'm perplexed as to why they appear to have a rash of flight path management events.

Every shop has it's bad actors and bad days. A lot gets swept under the rug. The Artic Eagles landing short in the state of Alaska? We should be on the front page of every media outlet for the lack of profesionalism and stupidity going on. But we aren't. SWA is just getting their turn in the spotlight.
What happens in Alaska (the state) stays in Alaska and that's a separate ecosystem it seems, even with the FAA up to a point. In fairness, some communities rely on the air service so they routinely do some of the most challenging flying in the USA.
I'm interested in what might have changed at SWA lately, but I don't think it's new hires since all CA's have significant longevity. They just got an industry leading (narrowbody) contract so they should be relatively happy-ish.
I'm wondering why WE aren't having these issues, I can't see how we're much different, artic eagles aside. Why them and not us?
SWA might be having a run of bad luck with the media scrutiny. If so, fine.

I'm not pointing fingers just asking questions, it's a discussion.
