May need to update those numbers.

While SW has hired some folks recently, and maybe had some retention issues, anybody in the left seat should have almost ten years on property. So I'm perplexed as to why they appear to have a rash of flight path management events.
those who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.

Look up hiring in the mid 60s-70s.

They wore the mask too long depriving their brain of oxygen? Too many boosters with unknown side effects? 🤪🤪🤪

The 26 yo "metaphor" is hot garbage.

And "what else changed?" Essentially, "I declared it, it's your job to refute my declaration"

I don't think United even had an abnormal increase in flight crew related incidents. They were more dealing with a rash of maintenance issues that made the news.

The FO on the OGG flight is a new pilot to UAL but not inexperienced. The 767 FO in IAH is fairly new but not the CA he was flying with.

Nothing has changed, we are just noticing it more. Look how many YouTube channels there are that do nothing but monitor ATC recordings for anything unusual. And then there is the ADS-B data that gives everyone all the data they need to reconstruct the flight instantly. 10 years ago, most of these events would go unnoticed or be handled internally and the general public wouldn't hear anything about it. I've got some stories from companies I worked at over a decade ago that are just as shocking as the recent United and SWA flights.

Yes I was referencing the FOs. Obviously the captains on the triple and the 76 are not new.
