Default Digital Logbook

For years I've used Crew Lounge Pilot Log (Formerly MCCPilotlog). It was great becuase I could automatically download my flights since it had my CWA login. One push of the sync button and my logbook was up to date. They cancelled that feature and now that logbook program sucks. Is there any logbook software that works for PC, not Mac, that automatically downloads our stuff?

I mean I don't know about automatically downloading anything but SWAPA keeps a logbook that you can export, they do that automatically.

The SWAPA log doesnt track much, unless I'm doing it wrong. No landings, PF/PM, night, etc.

I've run into the same issue with my airline and unfortunately almost all the other logbooks out there suck or do not work on a PC (my requirement although I didn't mind that with Pilotlog you had to import your roster on the Ipad, then the cloud would transfer it over to your PC interface). So far I have been manually entering in information in hopes a new solution comes out soon.

Yeah, I had to do the same with Pilotlot, importing it on my ipad then syncing to PC, and now I am doing the exact same thing by manually entering it. Kind of a pain in the a$$, but I'm getting the hang of it. Thanks for the input.

I used MCCPilotLog / Pilot Log for many years, and am quite disappointed to lose the auto-import feature. Their first email about the change said something about possibly offering refund options, since this is a pretty big change to what the software offers. Anyone heard more about this?

I have an honest to gosh question. Why is anyone keeping a log once you are in your destination job, which for most of us this is?

The SWAPA logbook does a much better job than me. At this level, legs flown, night, and instrument time are trivia. Landings are tracked by HQ, but we get so many that it shouldn't matter

Once I got hired, my logbooking days are over. I do refer to the SWAPA website twice a year when I am doing my medical, but that's the extent of it. I have no idea how many hours I have nor do I care. 10k? Maybe 11? Not sure.

I mean I guess if you have concerns about the viability your chosen carrier as a going concern in the future, you might be proactive and update your logbook. I haven't personally kept a logbook in about 15 years so I'd be screwed personally. I also think that once you've had verifiable employment at a reputable Airline for a decade or more as well as at least 10,000 hours or more, how many flying legs or landings seems like overkill to be documenting at that point, but different strokes I guess.

On the way to my spirit interview I was frantically updating the last 8 years in my logbook. Stopped updating as soon as I got hired. Just did the last 12 years for reasons, but at least this time it was electronic.....

Have you downloaded the SWAPA app? It has a logbook feature that tracks hours by month including a breakdown of last six months etc. great for your medical.
