If you are over the threshold do what you want. But if you are low and correct for glide close in, your engines spool up, and then when on glide you pitch down with your engines still spooled up and then they delay to roll back. You gain speed and do unpleasant things. Too low on approach can make you land short or over run the runway.

I just need a Lav dump dude. Be sure to wear those rubber gloves and get ground headset that works this time. And disconnect that ground Air for the 5th time.

Thats where that “be a pilot” comes in handy. Unfortunately I’ve seen some spectacular non-aviating recently. People are here that wouldn’t have been up until Covid. Stay on your toes, folks.

Yep. And to that point a left seater should not expect a greenish right seater to “be a pilot” in the same way they might. Particularly in weather or in busy/unfamiliar environments…. Fly the LOC/LNAV-GS/VNAV to the PAPI.

I get that. That was what I was getting at, I just didn't really put in maximum effort in communicating that. Probably should have.
