How do you guys get away not being "at or above" an available GS? Even if it is GPS, it's an available approach. I though that was a blanket 121 thing but I guess I'm wrong.

FAA is apparently conducting a large scale audit of SWA after the TPA thing, so I don't think they're getting away with anything.

Too high means go around (unstable), too low just level off and you’re back on glide. Duh 🙄

Glideslope from below is the norm for an ILS.

But for RNAV/RNP most airplanes prefer to intercept the path at a fix, at the published altitude, ideally on the course prior to the fix. Otherwise strange behavior might occur. "What's it doing now?"
