Were you flying slowest practical when you heard they were launching? I wasn’t there, but that does sound annoying.

We were at final approach speed well before the marker. It was 200% deliberate, and totally obvious to us and the tower.

The cowboy days at Southwest are long gone and in the history books. Given all the safety monitoring and reporting systems, it's comical to presume we are still a bunch of cowboys.

after 3 min cool down shutting one down makes a big difference, but you're right about the max. Still fun to kid though.
