Not intending to troll or be a FUD distributor. Have had a few other FO’s mention to me that union guys are starting to talk about it on trips. I have not personally heard anything direct myself.
Hence why I’m asking all of the people here who seem to be more well connected than me.
I come from 135, so this is my first airline. Furlough stuff is all new to me.

For what it's worth I just finished a trip and the last FO (rerouted trip of course) said what the original poster said. The FO told me he was in a lounge when a union rep, who the FO named, stated that Elliot wants to furlough 2,500 pilots.
This very well could be EIM spreading their own FUD but this rumor is floating around.

how the hell in the short time Elliott raised their heads here would they know 2500 pilots heavy, especially when lots of open times are going out "premium before reserves". Come on dude use your head 🤦♂️ there's a song out there that goes like this. "paranoia will destroy ya"
