Ill check back here in a few months. I guarantee there will be griping about lack of premium. I think you guys are being very optimistic.

Maybe after a summer melt down or bad weather but it won’t be the norm. Wait until fall. The high timers will struggle.

Finally. A big part of my vote was that provision not only continuing, but expanding in the new contract.

There’s nothing quite like SWAPA selling FO seniority down the river with our own dues.

im sick of hearing about straight bidding for open time. Every single trip that has both seats open has straight CA bids.

You can't compare Captain and FO open time bidding. They are two completely different things. Captains are much less rational. Their desperation level is way way higher and always has been.

Good thing this CA almost never bids OT. If I do I’m only doing prem. But that might be once or twice per year. I barely fly my line. The desperation is unbelievable. Funny I listen to FOs talking about their second house, fancy cars or buying $1.5M homes.

Sounds like a man who lives within his means. Smart. Those same FOs become captains. I spent a year lancing and following both seats. Captains do some really weird stuff, man. It honestly defies logic at times.
