I tried the apple pencil, first time I brought it with me was for a sim. 15 min into the sim I knocked it off the ipad magnetic clip spot and it bounced under my seat where I couldn't get at it. Maybe next time I'll get lucky and it'll just bounce behind the rudder pedals so I can forget about it completely.

I flew with a crusty CA who commented he liked doing an occasional flaps 15 landing for practice. Our destination that leg was SNA so I made some vague comment that maybe this wasn't the leg to show me that. He took it as a challenge and we did it. 1 ft is positive stopping margin, right?
