You have truly mastered the art of debate and persuasion. 🤣

Thanks. I’m done persuading people that are willing to accept concessions and industry lagging contracts. I’ve done enough for this pilot group. How about you? I was instrumental in the grass root effort that got details out about TA1. How about you? Or do you just get off telling people to do more of the heavy lifting while you sit on your hands and criticize. GMAFB!

I'm not the one already whining that the "yessies" are going to pass a subadequate TA. Your technique gave me a chuckle - which is why I posted a little sarcastic jab.

It seems to me if that's something you're concerned about, you make your case and try to persuade those who might vote against their own best interests. APC - an anonymous virtual town hall - is the perfect venue for those kinds of discussions.

Insulting them is likely to have the opposite effect, especially in a group of strong willed, type A personalities.

As for me? I'm more of the "everybody gets one vote" mindset. I'll vote in my best interests, you vote in yours, and let the chips fall where they may.

Political discourse is really a lost art these days. Instead of talking to one another and debating the merits of ideas, it's a whole lot of, "my idea is the only one that is good enough and anybody who disagrees is stupid". We can be better than that.

I agree with the vast majority of what you say.....but you are trying to make the average airline pilot out to be some kind of rugged individualist philospher, when the truth is many of them are whiny little b!tches with too many bills to pay.

I know how this ends. It ends with 737 rates equal to everyone else’s. You might get Delta’s 321 NEO rates at the most (757/767 pay). They throw a big retro/signing bonus at you and that buys enough yes votes to get it passed. In the meantime, they stall as long as possible so the retro check grows to make it easier to buy votes.

I’ve seen this play out numerous times over the years. The bar as already been set. Southwest will be right there.

I was just looking at the crew cost difference from DL 757 to 737-900 rates. I didn’t have time to figure differences from any rate between 757 and 747 to see what the break even is.

We've got enough SprinkleBoys amoung us that know better already. Ensure the Sprinklers voice doesn't over crowd yours.

Engage with your BOD representation. They are literally the last line of defense from a Sprinkle TA1 getting floated out there for a 51% vote.

Notice SWAPA hasn't educated you on your own market value. Why is that?

We all need to dig into determining your own market value, the sales job is coming. Both from unknowingly SprinkleMen from within, and those with an agenda whether it be trip pull from The Grind, or a SWA cubicle work from home parachute job.

Watch closely the SWAPA moves from within in the next 90-180 days.
