Waste of time writing fatique reports. Do you think yours is the first time the fatigue monkeys have seen your report? Another full time trip pull for a SWAPA Klingon. Dead silence would let the cubicle dwellers know that we have quiet quit. Nothing changes based on fatigue. Nobody on either side GAS. Club 5/20.

There’s a reason west coast guys don’t do east coast AM’s with any regularity and east coast guys don’t do west coast PM’s. Because of fatigue reports.

If there's one thing we have that truly is industry leading, it's our fatigue policy. Fatigue calls are easy, no questions asked, and pay protected (as long as you're not on a premium trip). I wouldn't advocate for anything that would change this policy. It takes me 5 minutes to fill out their form. Not worth getting worked up about.

You seem to troll the SWA section a lot, stir the pot, then leave.
Is that because everyone hates you on the United forum?

No pilot should get financially penalized for making a safety decision. Premium pay or straight pay is irrelevant.

I sure am tired, but I don't want to lose premium pay for the rest of today and half of tomorrow.
It's a real thing. If a trip is awarded P, there should be no financial disincentive from calling out fatigued. I am sure some will abuse it, but that's just the cost of doing business.
I am very happy with our fatigue program. It is very well executed. It is the model for the whole industry with this one exception.

You are either a troll, insane or inept, possibly a combo of three. If you make a pilot choose a financial penalty over safety you are putting them in a crappy position. If I am rerouted or moved up due to their ****ty operation and then at some point I am fatigued, I shouldn’t lose the premium pay because I am choosing to be safe.
