Off topic: Miatas In Airline History

Off topic - my airport beater is a 2005 Pontiac hatchback. (Toyota with Pontiac badging in truth). It's got about 150,000 miles on it.
All I do is drive It to the airport and back. I don't care what happens to it in the employee lot. But it's starting to require some expensive repairs and I've been thinking of replacing it.
What's a good airport car that gets great gas mileage, won't attract the attention of bad guys, and ideally is super inexpensive to buy used?

A Miata is essentially a Lotus Elan S2 convertible with a metal body, an engine that will last more than 10K miles, and electrics that actually work. And the Elan is simply one of the finest sports cars ever made. I grew up with my mom driving me to kindergarten in one of my dad's two '67 Elans.
I've taken a few Miatas to the track and they are crazy fun...they are perfect cars for learning true car control, because you can learn how to handle the car at its limits without the power overwhelming the chassis. And a well-driven Miata will smoke any supercar around a track, if the supercar is being driven by someone with little experience.
That said...the Miata is too small, for me at least, to use as a daily driver. Still, it's truly a great sports car. I must say though...I've never seen an airline pilot driving a Miata...

Really, the only problem with the Miata is the trunk isn't big enough for a body...
