Believe it or not out of MDW I spend more time flying out west. Lots of Cali trips. Pretty good mix and varies with the travel seasons though. You can easily get trips that don’t cross the Mississippi.

Buddy of mine is a June hire here and still can't hold DAL. Hopefully he can hold it for Jan. All subject to change....

I'm an April new hire and this is my first month holding Dallas. So after my consolidation month, only took 3 months.

This is a moving target for sure. Just plan on commuting for six months and be really happy when you only do it for two. Either way it’s a very short wait for a career at your home base.

lol I see what ya did there. Culture and QOL is what I'm after tbh and I feel that SWA could give me both more than any regional ever could. Also I keep hearing "get out of the regionals asap" so I'm just following advice

Well if you want a regional mentality airline management group, this is place. Culture may be better than your regional but it’s not better than SkyWest that I assure you. We are not the culture airline anymore, we are a machine that doesn’t care about people, it’s all about profit. I’d go to real major airline not this tweener of an airline.
The only thing this place has is schedule flexibility but combined with non commutable lines….its a wash.
