Post BHM fueling incident 8/12/23

Apparently fueler got distracted between his phone and female coworker and wasn't paying attention. Shutoff valve failed and "many" gallons of fuel spilled on to the ramp. Fire dept was called out. A friend of mine was on the flight.

Glad nothing ignited. I imagine the fueler is looking for a new gig.

Cool. Definitely worth starting a thread over. Aren’t you neglecting your union bashing duties by redirecting your energy to this?

Happened to me the other day somewhere. They had like 4 guys cleaning it up. A pile of sand. We took off about 15 min late. It was so crazy. I couldn’t even believe it. Lester Holt from ABC world news wanted to interview me.
