For academic purposes:
Probably reasonable for them to say their fuel hedging program was contributing to that. Also if legacy’s were filing BK and flushing pensions; how can you say highest paid period.
The period means no context required, clearly context is required.

I don’t care if we get to TA4, it has to be the full SWAPA proposal and;
Long call/short call
Trip ownership
Non-contactable prior to reserve assignment
SWAPA Hotel committee
Long/short hotels
JA protection
No JA during OT trip
Hotel in domicile for JA
Pos space home after JA
200% JA and out of footprint
Comp days for JA
Meals or significant improvements in PD
Training bidding
Trip drop based on computed algorithm
Continuous combined open time
100% retro
Retro established in advance for next-contract
Redeye protection, no legs before or after
Leg change override
Shoulder flying override
PS for IROPs
PS for commuter clause policy
Hotel rooms in domicile
Parking
Uniforms
Pay/perdiem
Disability and sick improvements
Continuation of benefits on disability
$1m paid life insurance
Pay that reflects productivity
All flying rigged
No middle seats on DHs
6 weeks vacation
Long call/short call

The mediator doesn’t vote on the contract, we do.
Why would we expect less than every other major airline, except AS? New hires are already convinced that these items are expected and they’re going to the airlines that have them. If we don’t match them we won’t survive.

You do realize our company leaked rates in excess of the gift you just received and its nowhere near adequate for any SWAPA pilot I've spoken with? Certainly not 85% yes... y'all got saved. That snap up language was a massive joke.

Yeah, I could also probably do away with JA and instead have them offer LRF at 200%, 300% until it gets covered. Knowing our pilot group, it gets covered every single time.
And yes, if our TA doesn't cover the above, vote no, vote early, vote often and get 10 other friends to vote no as well. No FUD, no negotiation fatigue. We must get it right.
