I did not know this information gem. But it doesn’t surprise me. It’s like doing insider trading with our careers in the crosshairs. To be fair, he’s not the only one that has performed this sanctimonious miracle. Also, anything he puts on the table has to be approved and directed by the person ”s” at the top. Let’s not lose sight of that.

I’m beginning to believe that they don’t have realistic and serious growth plans. They will not be able to secure proper staffing with what they’re proposing to pay. They’re acting as if wide bodies, faster upgrades, and better QOL, are unsubstantiated unicorn rumors.

This negotiating in public proposal is nothing but a ploy to divide us, distract us from our original goals, and to switch and redirect blame toward our own negotiators. Airline management tactic 101. Let’s not be lollipop suckers and allow ourselves to be bamboozled into it.

Next informational picket, each one of us needs to be flinging a yo-yo with one hand, and holding the picket sign with the other.

Yeah I honestly think that stupid rate sheet hardened the resolve even more. Granted I dont have visibility on the whole pilot group but it seemed unanimous with everyone I have talked to so far that they are not accepting rates like that.
Also, I really think we should require anyone on the SWAPA leadership/NC positions to sign non-competes for 5 years or something in order to take that job.
