TWU Local 556 is corrupt as hell. We had two different groups of FA on Wednesday morning and their phones were blowing up with this text. Initially they thought it was a rumor started by a “yes” voter, but while on the hotel van they had the official email from them union. It was an emotional ride to the hotel for sure. Later that evening, the union did a live stream to discuss the re-vote. Watching it was agonizing. Scripted and poor acting. The re-vote should be on the TA previously presented, not changed or amended in any way. Embarassing. Shameless. Deplorable.

There will be an email today. Lyn went to the company and made a deal. She then took it to the board and they approved it to come back to us. It'll be a paper ballot. They changed nothing to do with money. They changed the reserve rdv thing. That only really affected the Sr people. And the drt stuff."

Imagine how much better the hotel van rides will be when we separate from the FA's. Quiet and peaceful.

Last trip, had timely contract transportation to a separate hotel for the pilots. Same thing next morning, met the FAs on the plane. It was a massive increase in QOL beginning and ending our day. I just can’t believe how many of us are indifferent to this. SS4M, yeah right.

Isn’t this the truth. I have made the mistake more times than I care to admit and sat in the back of some the war wagons only to have a very sore back at the hotel.

TWU556 was able to produce a TA with DL +16% compensation according to SWAPA.
What do you think the odds are the pilots get a chance to vote on DL +16%, let alone vote it down
SWA Dispatchers are the industry leaders in compensation, as is SWA MX.
Yet theres an entire thread on TWU556 being incompetent and corrupt.
