You spend X number of sleepless months jumping thru your a$$ defending your word/reputation and disproving some nut job fa in their attempt at getting free money from You & the company. Are you going to jump on the 'get fired and hire a lawyer for an undetermined amount of time and money just hoping for a big pay out?

If they don’t make him 100% whole…I would. The FA who sued the company/union for freedom of speech didn’t get fired after filing the lawsuit.

I believe if someone accuses another of anything that person is protected under the whistle blower act. That's why there is no retribution for false claims.
I flew with a guy who works on these for the union. He said it was out of hand how many false claims there is and how much it costs the union and company.
Both parties go out on paid leave until its settled, which can be months.

Things got heated and I’m sure most of us would have pushed an aggressor away from us just like our pilot did. Unfortunately, that physical contact was caught on camera and was what was used to get him fired.

The other FAs that were sitting with our pilot were even appalled at their coworker’s aggressive behavior. I guess the moral of the story is to disengage and make absolutely sure not to make ANY physical contact with a coworker.

Ironically, some still cling to the idea that we don’t need separate hotels. Nonsense….

The moral of the story is to avoid them at all costs. FA’s are not friends and in this day and age you can literally be accused of anything, guilty until proven innocent. Hell if you listened to any of the 58 min long HR video this quarter you would know even bystanders who “feel” like something may have occurred can report you with zero consequences to them.

Once the brake is set my interaction with them stops.

I really need to better adopt this policy and have been trying but I’m naturally a pretty social person. Still, I’d like to do a better job of “all business” because all it takes is one bad apple and you’re fighting to keep your job.

If we vote this AIP/TA in and they’re still floundering with theirs, the animosity towards us will only heighten.
