I 100 percent agree with you My problem is flight ops already took care of the issue and decided the appropriate discipline , even agreed from our VP. Then due to the company hate for pilots and loving to kiss inflights ass , they completely changed course and demanded he gets fired Our pathetic VP did not stand up to his word. As much as some did not like CM, Chuck fell on his sword to protect his word that he made to a pilot .
It is what it is , I cannot change that. I do want separate hotels .

^^^ This. Had our ex-VP of Flight Ops stood up to the company and told them "if you override me on this, I'm resigning as the VP of Flight Ops..." and then resigned when they overrode him, I don't think ol' Bob would have paid for a single drink on the line in the presence of any non-probationary pilot.

Probably a promotion and extra SWAG . Upper mgt thrives on lies .
In the meantime, the fired pilot was home with wife and kids trying to fight a bunch of lies made towards him . I have never seem any company that hates a group, as this place towards the pilots .

It would be nice to get seperate hotels, however it just isnt that difficult to pop in the ear pods in the van and not mingle with the FAs on the overnight under the same roof.

That is what I do,along with not waiting for them if on an AM and at an airport hotel. Shuttle runs every 20 min, I see no need to wait .

A union rep told me that is the past, after a false accusation was made against a pilot and admitted to by said FA, the pilot was told that if he sued for defamation it would be considered a 'hostile work environment act' and he would be immediately terminated.
That, along with the other information put out by SWAPA, the twu556 president's request for more write ups, and the vp of inflight doing the same have me absolutely astonished that no effort was made for more protections to be put in place this contract cycle.
And, Yes! I have not read a word of anything yet. So I will have to wait. Having been told by a rep that separate hotels aren't in this contract I am left wondering how anything can/will be done.
For the swaFA's that read these posts and aren't the ones causing problems. I'm sorry, but the ones that do cause problems don't wear a badge. So we never know who we're dealing with. The best option imho is to as others say: ear buds in, head down and catch up on emails and NC updates.

I would say that the behavior on the line is a direct result of the lack of consequences after the false accusations are made.

The company told the pilot that he would be terminated, not the union.
