application issue
I'm in the process of applying to SWA with the Pilot Credentials form and I've noticed something odd.
It's adding SIC time and PIC time together for a total. The problem is that they say to add any Dual Received into the SIC column, which in a lot of cases is a subset of the PIC time. (Common thing on an aircraft checkout, for example.)
It's making the flight times look artificially high, and I'm concerned that it will look like I'm trying to inflate my numbers when I'm just following directions.
I'm GUESSING that it's probably not that big of an issue since they're mainly going to be concerned with my turbine SIC time from the regional, but I don't like guessing when I'm trying to secure an interview.
Thoughts?

PIC, you are the final authority for the mission/flight, or you were physically alone in the airplane / solo
SIC, everything else, to include dual instruction received.
PIC + SIC should equal TT, for airline app purposes

for "airline app purposes" your time is EITHER, in 99.9% of situations:
PIC, you are the final authority for the mission/flight, or you were physically alone in the airplane / solo
SIC, everything else, to include dual instruction received.
PIC + SIC should equal TT, for airline app purposes

Different at this level, I guess. Also makes sense.

Appreciate the info. Thanks.
