Dont forget about ORD. I used our crew hotel (they gave us the crew rate) the night before. Austrian or Swiss definitely issues boarding passes for nonrevs if seats are available before you get to the airport. They did for us online anyway.

StaffTraveler, Flight Board, ID90 and Rome2Rio apps are all great tools.

I also really like Skyscanner. It's not a non rev app, but you can put your departure city and it shows you a list of cheap flights depending on what time of the year you want to travel. It's a GREAT research tool and you'll get some cool suggestions on there of places you wouldn't have thought of going!
