Good job SWAPA pilots! Within six hours of opening, 80% had already voted!

Union explicitly told those who were thinking of voting no to not vote so the % would be better for those who voted yes.

You can probably count the 221 as No votes who aren’t brain dead. The 81 are dumb as a rock and are prob all day laborers at HQ who don’t ever touch a plane.

No excuse, either a yes or a no….. there is no reason for less than 100% participation. I’ve heard the excuses of “well the no votes were management pilots”…. Awesome…. You either stand with the improvements or against…. You can’t not participate and reap the benefits

Agreed. I wish that’s how it worked. If you’re not with us on something this simple, you should be forced to stay under the current CBA.

Except that's not how collective bargaining works.

I realize that. If I were king for a day….if you’re a carpet bagging clown, then you shouldn’t profit from the hard work of others.

Collective bargaining only works if it is collective. But is sucks to carry the people that think they could do better on their own. Maybe some could, but they still destroy the environment. Companies bargain as an entity, labour should do the same.

At my last company we had pilots that opted out of the union because of sour grapes and still collected retro after the new contract. Unacceptable.
