if you expect people to pay attention/follow directions or even show up to work to do their jobs you're going to be very frustrated here

I think it’s everywhere now. I almost imploded at an airport Starbucks last trip. It was unreal.

Man, getting told the process 20 times would have been nice. I felt I was listening intently as we were told one time in the first 5 minutes of our process, in passing and amidst an amalgam of other information nonetheless, to expect to hear back no later than the Friday 9 days after the date of the interview. I may very well be wrong, but I don’t think anything was said about sending an email, let alone an address where to send it. I figure I’ll just let the chips fall and enjoy a day at the lake tomorrow with my family, and then follow up Monday afternoon if I don’t hear by then. I guess the worst case is I don’t do another indoc in the very immediate future, best case I’ll be about a month behind you in seniority and enjoying a few months in Dallas in the fall. Lockhart Smokehouse in Bishop Arts is worth a trip or two for some beef shoulder if you get the time. First pound is on me. Great cigar shop next door too. Again I am truly sorry to have upset you, I was just checking all available resources before making a move because it seemed like a responsible thing to do.

[email protected] was the address they told you to reach out to if you hadn’t heard anything. Out of curiosity, have you checked you missed call log? Anything unusual that doesn’t seem like spam? Maybe you missed the call? If the news is bad, at least you only have to wait 3 months.

Thank you. I will email them on Monday afternoon if I don’t hear back. I have heard from several of my LOR’s that have received a call from WN HR. I have not missed any calls or found any emails sent to junk folder, and I am not the only one who hasn’t heard back. Several people are still waiting with radio silence.

Like people have said, it's you.

Also, if you expect to be satisfied here by paying attention and following directions, you're gonna have a bad time. Any new procedure, policy, manual revision, or technique will have several conflicting sets of directions that ultimately brick whatever they're trying to have you do.

You have to kind of read between the lines to try and interpret their intent. Unfortunately, sometimes that intent was decided between two random people in a parking lot 20+ years and is only told to you during a disciplinary hearing.

If you're a fan of clear instructions and doing what you're told, you might want to go to Delta.

That’s sound advice for anyone looking at SWA right now.
