I can’t believe they changed the language about terminators and not specifically mention in the RBF.

You guys read AOM 14.1 as you have to do a walk around when terminating an aircraft in a maintenance base or station?

The way I read the bulletin it says “before” each flight.

Read the part in the overview where it says, “Additionally, an exterior postflight inspection is required …”

And then the new added section 13.6.1 Exterior Postflight Inspection.

Yea I'm sure that FO that just landed at 330 am (3 hours late) from the west coast is really going to be thouroughly inspecting that plane in the dark at the end of a garbage 4 day paying 26....GTFOH

My last trip I terminated an airplane in Dallas. As I was doing my "thorough" walkaround 3 mechanics were busy checking the lights and opening panels as part of their nightly checks. Makes a lot of sense don't it? I just happened to be flying with a CKA that day, had it been a regular Captain I probably would've conveniently "forgot" about the new guidance and just bolted.
