Paid Parking Coming Soon
Today’s SWA News Brief email says paid parking is coming to ground ops, flight crew, and tech ops employees. Pleased to see they’re acknowledging this industry standard item (hesitate to call it a benefit because, parking at work seems like common sense). One less thing to use negotiating capital on.

It better be in the parking garages.. although the parking spot is faster. I can literally park and be inside the terminal in roughly 5 min with them. I have done the close in parking and I think it’s more of a PITA. Need a Miata.. and maybe some sketchers for the walk.

Agreed! I can almost guarantee you that the company will say but but we gave you paid parking!! I literally had paid parking at every airline I’ve been at. Never been a problem. Uniform allowance that accumulates. Just insanity we don’t have simple crap like that. Guess I’ll walk around in brown necked collars and mismatching colored pants because M&H can’t produce a product worth a darn.

This is not paid paid parking from today forward. It will be treated as a reward like buddy passes and SWAG Points ( you will only get if certain work conditions are met) You will get the paid parking if you are a good pack mule ,
